      Elizabeth was admitted to hospital with headaches and pain down her left side. She was discharged 2 1/2 hours later and suffered an acute stroke the next day. Hospital tests revealed that she had also suffered a minor stroke the day before. Our team helped Elizabeth make a negligence claim against the hospital.       After experiencing dizziness, headache and loss of function down her left side, Elizabeth was taken to a public hospital in regional New South Wales. She was discharged hours later despite her ongoing symptoms. She collapsed the following day and was readmitted to the same hospital before being transferred to a second hospital. There, MRI results showed an acute stroke. Elizabeth’s brain injury caused loss of strength on her left side. She also experiences frequent headaches, blurred vision, impaired speech and difficulty concentrating.
