      When Mateo stepped into a badly-repaired pothole, we proved the local council was responsible for his injuries. Since you can’t usually sue councils, we needed expert evidence to prove his claim. Additionally, we had to act quickly before the pothole was filled.

      To begin Mateo’s claim, we engaged a leading safety expert and engineer to assess the footpath and pothole. He reported that the area had been poorly repaired and was dangerous for pedestrians. We also had Mateo assessed by our team of medical specialists. They confirmed that he could never return to his previous job and would require a full elbow replacement in the future.

      After two days of negotiations, we secured a $950,000 settlement. Mateo was thrilled with the result. He could now pay off his debts, plan for future medical treatment, and retrain for another job to accommodate his injuries.
