      A car collided with Steve’s bike as he rode home from work. Despite extensive surgery, Steve lost much of his bodily function. His physical disabilities meant he could not work and developed chronic psychological issues. We helped Steve file 2 separate claims to secure his care and finances.

      We prioritised securing temporary financial relief to cover Steve’s everyday expenses and treatment costs. Since the accident occurred on the way home from work, we applied for Workers Compensation on his behalf. Soon after, Steve began receiving weekly payments to cover his lost income and medical expenses.

      We then prepared a separate motor accident claim to secure his future. This included a residential architect’s report on home renovation costs to accommodate Steve’s disabilities. We also arranged for Steve to be assessed by seven independent medical experts, who all confirmed that he could not return to work.

      The case proceeded to Court, where Steve was awarded $660,000 plus legal costs. Combined with his Workers Compensation payments, Steve is no longer struggling financially. He can now afford the home renovations essential for a person living with disability.
